American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active GA or compact RN license.

Work in the Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) of a hospital setting
-
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

Weekend rotation requirement to be discussed during interview

On-call required: approximately one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5–6 weeks

Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed

Local candidates are accepted for this position

Active GA or compact RN license required at time of consideration

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required

Copies of all required certifications must be provided for consideration

No scheduling requests or alternate shift requests will be accommodated — the posted day shift is firm

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

RTO maximum is 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment

Holiday coverage policy: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO allowed; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler must work two and may request one holiday off for approval

Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday (counted as one), Christmas Eve/Christmas Day (counted as one), and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day (counted as one)

Travelers must be away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler

Travel pairs will not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit

Full compliance with all onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time
