We are looking for an HR Coordinator II to join our Human Resources team. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys recruiting, candidate communication, organization, and being part of the employee experience from the very beginning.
This position will be heavily focused on recruiting, with approximately 75% of the role dedicated to supporting hiring needs across the firm. The remaining portion of the role will support onboarding, HR administration, employee records, compliance tracking, payroll and benefits coordination, and general HR support.
We are looking for someone who can keep the recruiting process moving, communicate professionally with candidates and hiring managers, and help create a positive and organized experience from application through first day.
What You’ll Do
- Recruiting will be the primary focus of this role. Responsibilities will include:
- Posting and refreshing job ads across recruiting platforms
- Reviewing applications and helping identify qualified candidates
- Communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Conducting initial prescreens for assigned roles
- Coordinating interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Tracking candidate progress and keeping applicant records updated
- Following up with candidates in a timely and professional manner
- Partnering with HR and management to support hiring priorities
- Helping ensure recruiting pipelines stay active and organized
In addition to recruiting, this role will also support
- Onboarding and new hire paperwork
- Background checks and orientation follow-up
- Employee records and HRIS updates as needed
- Compliance tracking and HR reporting as needed
- Payroll and benefits coordination as needed
- Timecard follow-up and benefits reminders as needed
- Policy communications and basic HR questions
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of recruiting, HR, onboarding, or related administrative experience preferred
- Recruiting experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking
- Strong follow-up skills and the ability to keep multiple openings organized at the same time
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and sound judgment
- Experience in a legal, professional services, or high-volume office environment is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or HR coursework/certification preferred
