CUSTOMER ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven Customer Account Representative to join our growing aerospace manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in managing customer accounts from contract review through final delivery, ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, on-time delivery (OTD), and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, understands aerospace quality requirements, and can effectively coordinate cross-functional teams to meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively and professionally communicate with the customer and vendors.
- Plan, schedule, and track project milestones and deliveries.
- Manage customer purchase orders from receipt through shipment.
- Conduct detailed contract reviews to ensure all requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated internally.
- Develop and maintain accurate production schedules aligned with customer due dates.
- Maintain and improve On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
- Provide daily/weekly forecasting updates to management.
- Communicate customer requirements and changes effectively to cross-functional teams.
- Proactively identify schedule risks, capacity constraints, or material shortages and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate material and hardware ordering to support active POs.
- Immediately address rework, scrap, or returned items to minimize schedule impact.
- Maintain compliance with AS9100 requirements and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to account management and workflow efficiency.
- Be highly organized with logical, methodical approach to work.
- Maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure accuracy in MRP system
- Knowledge of and Compliance of AS9100 requirements and company policy and procedures.
Requirements/Skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Great interpersonal skills when interacting with customers, employees, vendors, etc
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
