Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various paving machinery and tools, (paver, roller, etc.) . This role requires a strong understanding of maintenance, and labor skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Duties
- Operate machinery ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor machine operations, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections on machinery, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff
- Assist in training new operators on equipment usage and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a paving setting.
- Experience with tooling processes and assembly line operations is preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment safely; OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
