Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Pipefitter to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing teams. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install piping systems according to specifications.
- Fabricate pipe components through cutting, threading, bending, and assembly using hand tools and power tools.
- Install various piping systems while adhering to safety regulations and construction site protocols.
- Use precision measurement tools like calipers and schematics to ensure proper pipe dimensions and alignment.
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of existing piping infrastructure on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
- Follow safety protocol adherence at all times, including proper rigging techniques, power tool safety procedures, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with a focus on pipefitting projects.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, fabrication processes, tube bending, and assembly methods.
- Skilled in using hand tools for the trade to be able to get the job done in a timely and safe manner and right the first time.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to pipe installation and fabrication tasks.
