We are a locally owned scuba shop serving the Tucson diving community. We are passionate about providing divers with high-quality gear, classes, and opportunities to explore the underwater world. We’re looking for an enthusiastic scuba-certified individual to join our team on a part-time basis, with opportunities to assist in classes and grow within the dive community.
Position Overview
The Part-Time Scuba Shop Associate will support daily shop operations, assist customers with equipment and travel planning, and have opportunities to participate in scuba training programs. This role is ideal for someone who is already scuba certified, enjoys working with people, and is looking for a flexible schedule with diving perks. Instructor certification is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with shop operations including sales, rentals, and inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service to divers of all levels.
- Support dive travel planning and promote shop events.
- (If qualified) Assist with or teach scuba classes, earning additional bonuses.
- Foster a welcoming environment for the local dive community.
Qualifications
- Scuba certification required (Instructor certification preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work flexible hours and weekends.
- Passion for diving and engaging with the scuba community.
