What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality personal care — bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers
- Assist clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, and cognitive decline with patience and skill
- Operate Hoyer lifts and assist with mobility and positioning safely
- Follow individualized care plans and document accurately
- Communicate proactively with family members and the supervising RN
- Maintain a calm, dignified environment for the client at all times
Requirements
- Active CNA certification (required)
- HHA certification a plus
- Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience
- Demonstrated experience with dementia / Alzheimer's clients
- Hoyer lift and transfer experience required
- Reliable transportation to client homes in Northern Virginia
- Clean background check
- Authorized to work in the United States
