Do you believe that music has the power to build community? The Nashua Community Music School is looking to hire a part-time Cello Instructor to inspire a new generation of musicians.
Qualifications
The ideal applicant must
- Have a genuine passion for teaching students of all ages and abilities
- Believe that high quality music experiences should be accessible to all
- Possess advanced knowledge of cello pedagogy and practice
- Be comfortable delivering lessons primarily in person and remote on occasion
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music (experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
- Particular interest will be given to applicants who can play and teach double bass

About NCMS: The mission of the nonprofit Nashua Community Music School is to create innovative music programs that are accessible to all. NCMS offers music education opportunities for all ages including: private music lessons, group classes, ensembles, Music Therapy, Music Outreach Programs, and summer camps. We appreciate teachers who create meaningful connections with our students while supporting our efforts as a nonprofit community service-based organization. We are responsible for all scheduling, marketing, recruiting, and communications for your studio so all you need to focus on is the thing you love to do: teaching. We are open for lessons Monday - Thursday 2pm - 8pm.
