We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Aide to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in a resident care living environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. As a Resident Aide, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, clean, and supportive community for all individuals under your care.
Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, activities, and medication management.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote community involvement and personal growth.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment, ensuring all common areas are tidy and welcoming.
- Lift and assist residents as needed, ensuring their safety during mobility and transfers.
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with home community care practices and assisted living environments is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassionate attitude towards working with people with disabilities and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting residents when necessary.
- A clean background check is required prior to employment.
