Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect with strong expertise in the Healthcare Payer/Provider domain to design and govern enterprise data architectures. The role spans Enrollment, Claims, Eligibility, Payments, Provider, and Member data models. Candidates must bring hands‑on experience with modern platforms (Snowflake, Data Lakes, RDBMS) and the ability to drive enterprise‑wide integration and transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Data Management.
- Strong Healthcare Payer and/or Provider domain expertise.
- Proven experience working with healthcare datasets including Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Payments, and Provider data.
- Expertise in Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, and Physical).
Strong experience with:
- Snowflake, Data Lakes (Azure Data Lake, AWS S3, or equivalent), Relational DB, ELT and Data Integration frameworks
- Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Experience designing cloud-native data platforms and modern data architectures.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures supporting healthcare payer and provider operations.
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models across multiple healthcare business domains.
- Define and manage data mappings, lineage, and integrations across systems such as: Enrollment, Claims Processing, Eligibility, Payments, Provider Management, Member Data
- Architect data solutions leveraging Snowflake, Data Lakes, and relational databases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, data engineers, and application teams to define data strategies and standards.
- Establish and enforce data governance, data quality, metadata management, and master data management practices.
- Support cloud-based data modernization initiatives and enterprise analytics platforms.
- Ensure scalability, performance, security, and compliance of enterprise data solutions
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
