Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee and coordinate our organization’s financial operations. This is a working manager position and must be part of the accounting team
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Manage general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliation processes.
- Full cycle accounts payable and supervise accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis to support organizational financial planning.
- Maintain accurate journal entries, accrual accounting practices, and double-entry bookkeeping procedures.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms for daily operations.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits to ensure transparency and accuracy of financial data.
- Mentor and develop accounting staff through training on technical accounting concepts.
- Prepare reports and tax filings.
- Interpret complex financial data for management through detailed report writing and presentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proficiency with advanced accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft; experience with financial software is essential. Definite plus for experience with Sage and QuickBooks.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation, account reconciliation (including bank reconciliation), journal entries, and ledger management.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, accrual accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Strong communication skills for effective report writing and financial report interpretation.
- Knowledge of tax regulations related to nonprofit or corporate entities is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: From $65,500.00 per year
