Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and providing exceptional guest service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, ensuring guests have a pleasant start to their day. Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required. A strong focus on food safety, customer service, and teamwork is essential for success in this position. Weekends are required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, plating, and portioning ingredients
- Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering duties
- Buss tables and assist with guest seating to ensure a smooth dining experience
- Replenish buffet stations and ensure all food items are stocked and presented attractively
- Follow proper food safety protocols and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout shift
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, accommodating special dietary needs, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy breakfast hours
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette for guest interactions
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor
- Basic knife skills, meal preparation knowledge, and familiarity with dietary accommodations are advantageous
- Ability to work early mornings or flexible hours as needed
- Team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
