Duties
- As part of our small, collaborative team, you will:
Instruction & Student Support
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction in alternative settings
- Support self-paced, project-based, and technology-enhanced learning
- Use computer-based curriculum to guide student progress
- Integrate real-world, vocational, and life skills into instruction
- Build strong, positive relationships with students and families
Collaboration & Flexibility
- Assist across programs (NCIS, Hope School, and Jail Education as needed)
- Collaborate with administrators, probation staff, and community partners
- Support counseling-informed approaches within instruction
- Step in to assist with processes, operations, and team needs when required
Organizational Contribution
- Help improve systems, processes, and student outcomes
- Contribute ideas and insights to strengthen the organization
- Communicate clearly and positively to build up colleagues and students
- Maintain attention to detail across multiple responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
- Valid Arizona teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with at-risk or non-traditional students preferred
- Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills
- Comfort with technology and computer-based instruction
