Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Medical Imaging Software Developer with an interest in DICOM, PACS, medical imaging workflows, and healthcare system integration. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers to get hands-on experience in the medical imaging domain.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain components for medical imaging applications
Work with DICOM, PACS, HL7, and imaging workflows
Develop and debug imaging modules in C++, Python, Java, or C#
Collaborate with senior imaging developers
Assist with QA testing and troubleshooting imaging issues
Create documentation and participate in code reviews
Required Skills
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
Strong interest or coursework in medical imaging
Familiarity with DICOM (classroom or project experience acceptable)
Programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or C#
Understanding of REST APIs and databases
Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with PACS, HL7, FHIR
Exposure to imaging libraries (DCMTK, pydicom, ITK, VTK)
Healthcare internship or imaging coursework
