American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist (Multimodality) for a 13-week travel contract in Plano, TX, requiring 2+ years of experience in X-ray and CT.

Outpatient and inpatient imaging setting performing multimodality procedures across disciplines such as X-ray, CT, and others within clinical scope
-
Weekend-heavy schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday, 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts)

13-week travel contract

Minimum 2 years of experience in X-ray and CT

Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required

BLS certification required (AHA only)

Active TX MRT license required (if applicable)

2 professional references required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures in accordance with established exam protocols, including proper patient positioning, equipment setup, and radiation safety practices

Responsible for patient communication using AIDET framework, including explaining procedures, confirming patient identity, and assessing patient tolerance

May perform iSTAT point-of-care creatinine testing when applicable

Maintains imaging records, documentation, and equipment/supply readiness in compliance with department standards

May serve as a preceptor for new team members or support training on new services and initiatives

Black scrubs required

Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions; typically required between August and November
