Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues within engine systems, electrical components, and vehicle electronics.
- Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, and drivetrain systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct wheel alignments, steering repairs, and suspension work to maintain vehicle safety and handling standards.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems accurately.
- Execute routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure repairs meet dealership standards and customer expectations while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or equivalent mechanic experience working on various vehicle makes and models.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine technology, brakes, suspension electrical systems, and vehicle systems integration.
- Ability to read and interpret automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
