BARTENDER
Bombay Bicycle Club is a family-owned, favorite local spot serving great food, cold beer and tasty cocktails for almost 50 years. Our busy restaurant & bar has a bustling lunch, and fun and friendly happy hour and evening crowd that allows us to offer our staff consistent, fixed shifts, and the opportunity to make a great income. We provide a fun and supportive team atmosphere with a small family of dedicated staff and we are looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual to join our team!
Currently we are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Bartender with a minimum of 1 year experience in a high volume and full service environment. Flexible availability is preferred and evening and weekend availability is a must.

- Commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to uphold all Bombay Standards
- Proven working history as a bartender with knowledge in craft cocktails, beer, wine and spirits
- Positive attitude and team player with a willingness to assist floor staff on shift as well as willingness to work serving shifts on an occasional/as needed basis.
- Excellent communications skills and a friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to engage in conversation and provide a positive experience for regular and new customers
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and an organized bar top and workspace
- Possess natural leadership abilities to be able to address customer issues
- Ability to direct floor staff as needed and monitor the guest experience throughout the establishment.
- Good time-management and multitasking skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently during periods of high volume
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of reliability
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to overseeing the preparation and presentation of all drinks in accordance to Bombay’s recipes and standards
- Able to provide fast, efficient and engaging service to both bar top and restaurant patrons.
- Maintain a clean work space in times of both slow and high volume
- Prep and prepare fresh juices, batched beverages and syrups as needed
- Help monitor quality control of service on shift, beverages and food
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with both front of house, kitchen and management.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and polished image as the most visible staff person in the bar/restaurant
- Physical demands of the job include but are not limited to:
- Standing and walking during entire 8-hour shift
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour and carry supplies
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds in weight on a semi regular basis

Pay and Frequency:
- Credit Card tips on 2 week Check, Cash Tips you keep in hand daily.
- Average of $20-$25/hr (combined hourly and tips)
Availability requirements: We are currently looking for someone with 30+ hours of availability.
Dress Code: Although we do have a relaxed dress code, facial piercings or tattoos, nose rings, multiple ear (more than 4) piercings, piercings larger than 1/4 inch in diameter, visible body piercings, ear gauges larger than 1 inch in diameter, ear tunnels, chain ear cuffs and chain ear piercing jewelry are not permitted.
