Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Temporary/PRN Assignment
Harry Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a short-term, one-on-one assignment with a client visiting Central Florida.
This temporary assignment will primarily focus on maintaining and improving range of motion, mobility, positioning, and functional movement under an established physical therapy plan of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Perform therapeutic exercises and range-of-motion activities according to the established plan of care
- Assist with stretching, positioning, mobility, and functional activities as appropriate
- Monitor the client’s response and tolerance to treatment
- Maintain client safety throughout treatment
- Communicate relevant findings or changes in status to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Complete required treatment documentation
Qualifications
- Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfortable working with clients who may require significant assistance with mobility
- Experience with orthopedic, neurological, trauma, or mobility-impaired clients preferred
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable providing treatment in a home setting
Assignment Details
- Position: Temporary / PRN
- Compensation: $60 per 60-minute visit
- Location: Orlando, 32836
- Frequency: 3-4 times/week
This position may be an excellent fit for a PTA looking for supplemental income or a short-term assignment without committing to an ongoing caseload.
