Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual conditions and goals.
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions.
- Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment options, progress, and post-session care instructions.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant health information.
- Ensure a clean, comfortable, and professional environment that adheres to occupational health standards.
- Stay current with industry best practices and expand your skills through ongoing education, including med spa treatments if applicable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in patient service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques and ability to develop customized treatment plans.
- Skilled in various massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Understanding of pain management strategies and how they relate to anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and occupational health standards.
- Previous med spa experience is highly desirable for this role.
