Removal Technician
We are looking to find hard-working, dedicated individuals to assist our busy funeral staff with the transfer of deceased from their place of passing to our funeral home. The Removal Technician will be responsible for any, and all, aspects of the transfer process (including, but not limited to; driving vehicles, using a cot, professional and compassionate handling of the deceased, etc.)
This position is often the first impression that people have of our Funeral Home; Therefore, it is of utmost importance that those applying have an innate desire to serve our client families with kindness, empathy and tact.
We are looking for people who easily take instruction and work well with others.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail is required.
Previous experience in death-care encouraged, but not required.
Commitment to uphold the mission of our team.
This is an ON-CALL position; hours and schedule with be Monday-Friday 8am-6pm. We are looking for those who can respond to the funeral home within 20 minutes of notification.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record Required
Applicants must be able to pass a background test & drug screening
Should be able to lift/pull/push a minimum of 150lbs
