Job Summary
Our company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Sandblaster/Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces through sandblasting and applying high-quality paint coatings to new or rebuilt heavy equipment/machinery and a variety of other industrial projects. You will ensure that surfaces are properly cleaned, primed, and finished to meet quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently to clean and prepare surfaces such as metal, concrete, masonry, and wood for painting or coating applications
- Apply industrial-grade paints, primers, sealers, and finishes using airless paint spraying equipment, brushes, or rollers
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or performing minor repairs before painting.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation.
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of debris and ensuring all equipment is in good working order for safety compliance.
- Other duties may include being a welder helper or other miscellaneous shop tasks.
Work hours M-F 7:00am - 4:00pm. Must pass drug/alcohol test. Pay will be based on experience/skill level. Benefits include:
