Lune Spark is a multi-discipline creative arts center for children and adults. Under one roof we run seven departments — fine arts, music, drama, dance, digital art, filmmaking, and personal development — plus camps, workshops, birthday parties, and community events.
About the role
The Center Lead is the face of our Holly Springs center. You run the front desk, keep the center feeling welcoming, and own the day-to-day rhythm that makes families glad they walked in. You're the person a parent asks when they need to speak to a manager, and the person a teacher looks for when something needs a hand. This is a hands-on role — you'll spend most of your week on the floor.
What you'll do
- Run 4 front-desk shifts a week — greet every family by name, answer phones, take bookings, give tours.
- Own one "catch-up" shift a week for admin, follow-ups, supply ordering, and center prep.
- Convert leads to enrolled families — first response on inquiries, trial-class conversions, tours, re-registrations.
- Keep the center presentable and safe — open/close, common areas, supplies, incident reports.
- Be the first line of coverage when a teacher is out; coordinate with substitutes.
- Grow our community footprint — local events, school partnerships, chamber, neighborhood outreach.
- Build family relationships — know student names and parent first names.
What we're looking for
- Warm, professional presence with families.
- Strong retail sales experience
- Strong organizational skills — juggle phone, tour, and email without dropping any.
- Comfort with tech (booking, POS, spreadsheets, email).
- 2+ years customer-facing (education, hospitality, retail, fitness).
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Reliability — on time, closes shifts completely, follows through.
- Availability — two morning shifts, 2 evening shifts, and one weekend shift.
Nice to have
- A background or hobby in the arts.
- Experience in a small or growing team where you wear multiple hats.
Compensation & schedule
- W2, Full-time, non-exempt, on-site at Holly Springs location.
- $19 per hour paid every two weeks on actual hours (35-40 hours)
