maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents by cleaning rooms and common areas, disinfecting surfaces to control infection, managing waste, and restocking supplies. This role requires interacting respectfully with elderly residents, adhering to strict infection control protocols, and reporting facility maintenance issues.
Available Shift - 8AM - 4PM - Every other Weekend is required.
- Resident Room Cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing resident rooms. This includes cleaning bathrooms, sanitizing high-touch surfaces (door handles, light switches), and managing bed linens.
- Common Area Maintenance: Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming hallways, lobbies, dining areas, and nursing stations.
- Infection Control: Strictly following protocols for disinfecting surfaces, handling biohazardous waste, managing soiled linens, and using personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of illness.
- Waste & Supply Management: Emptying and sanitizing trash containers and ensuring resident bathrooms and common areas are restocked with necessary supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
- Facility Upkeep: Reporting maintenance needs (e.g., broken fixtures, light bulbs) to supervisors, rearranging furniture, and preparing rooms for new admissions
