Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead and optimize our distribution center operations. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling
- Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence through effective team management and communication
- Oversee the operation of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and RF scanners to ensure accurate stock levels and order fulfillment
- Implement process improvements using lean management principles to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline workflows
- Manage the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed in accordance with OSHA standards
- Coordinate logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and manage distribution center operations for seamless delivery performance
- Conduct regular safety audits, enforce OSHA regulations, and promote a safety-first culture among all team members
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within distribution centers or e-commerce fulfillment environments
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping & receiving processes, and materials handling equipment operation
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, Microsoft Office suite, and RF scanners
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with excellent managerial communication skills and team leadership qualities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and other heavy machinery
- Experience with process improvement methodologies like lean management or continuous improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, 3PL logistics coordination, and distribution center operations
