Facilities & Grounds Technician (Part-Time)Join Our Golden Rose Family

We're looking for a dependable, flexible, and hands-on Facilities & Grounds Technician who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in their work, and is willing to help wherever needed.

What You'll Do
- Complete daily building and grounds walk-throughs to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the community.
- Keep sidewalks, entrances, patios, parking areas, and outdoor spaces clean, safe, and free of hazards.
- Mow lawns, trim landscaping, water plants, remove weeds, and maintain the overall appearance of the property.
- Empty garbage and recycling throughout the building and grounds.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Perform light plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, appliance repairs, drywall repair, furniture assembly, and other routine maintenance tasks.
- Prepare resident rooms for move-ins and assist with furniture moves and special projects.
- Monitor building safety, report concerns, and help keep the community in excellent condition.
- Partner with the leadership team to ensure our residents always have a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in facilities maintenance, construction, property maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable using lawn care equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely.
- Flexible, dependable, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to occasional after-hours maintenance needs.
- Friendly and respectful with residents, families, vendors, and coworkers.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Schedule
This is a part-time, flexible position with hours that may vary based on the needs of the community. Occasional evenings, weekends, and participation in an on-call rotation may be required.
