Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for craft cocktails, and a deep understanding of beverage management. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations while fostering a positive environment for both guests and employees.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage bar staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and developing team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Oversee daily bar operations to ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and organization.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff on craft cocktail preparation, customer service, and food safety practices.
- Maintain inventory levels of infusions, syrups and supplies; order stock as needed while minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in accordance with food safety standards.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or complaints promptly to maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Assist in the development of new cocktail menus and promotions to attract customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role.
- Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to identify talent that aligns with our company culture.
- Experience in training development to foster team growth and enhance service quality.
- Passion for innovative and unique cocktails.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in beverage management.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage staff and interact with customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
