Seeking for a purchasing agent who will assisting in the sourcing, purchasing, and coordination of materials and supplies. The role ensures timely availability of goods and services to support uninterrupted production and efficient supply chain operations.

Negotiate pricing, terms, volume discounts, and long-term agreements with suppliers.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers to ensure alignment with operational needs.

Create and process purchase orders to maintain appropriate inventory levels and support production requirements.

Manage purchasing activity within the ERP system accurately and in a timely manner.

Communicate with Production, Quality, and Accounting teams regarding order status, delays, and supply issues.

Identify and source new suppliers to improve cost efficiency and supply reliability.

Support cost reduction initiatives and assist with pricing analysis and quote comparisons.

Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures

Experience working with ERP/MRP systems; Microsoft Dynamics preferred.

Basic understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and purchasing procedures.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to compare pricing, review quotes, and support cost control efforts.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple purchase orders and meet deadlines.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Ability to manage supplier relationships, including follow-up on pricing, delivery, and order accuracy.

Ability to work with ITAR-controlled data (U.S. persons requirement may apply).

Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

On-site position requiring regular in-office attendance.

Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally.

Extended periods of sitting and computer use.

Occasional bending, squatting, or reaching.

Ability to travel occasionally to support procurement activities and supplier relationships.
