Position Overview
We are an established manufacturer of torque sensor systems used in the motorsport, defense and private sector industries. We are contracted with top race circuits like Formula1, IndyCar and more and have seen recent growth into more segments.
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities while ensuring GAAP compliance. This role will manage accounting operations including A/P, A/R invoicing, payroll, inventory accounting, and support annual audits and reporting. The Accounting Manager will drive process improvements, maintain strong internal controls, and partner with leadership to provide timely financial insight and accurate annual reports.
Key Responsibilities

Lead month-end and year-end close processes, prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Manage general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable invoicing, payroll coordination, and cash flow monitoring.

Coordinate and support external and internal audits, provide schedules and documentation to auditors.

Maintain inventory accounting processes, reconciliations and costing analysis.

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and key performance metrics to senior leadership.

Implement and optimize financial systems and controls; serve as a super-user for OneStream and QuickBooks integrations.

Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, working cross-functionally to drive business performance.

Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff; assign workloads and review deliverables for accuracy and timeliness.

Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA strongly preferred.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience.

Solid working knowledge of GAAP and experience supporting external audits.

Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and OneStream (or similar ERP consolidation/reporting systems).

Proven experience in reconciliations, inventory accounting, A/P, A/R invoicing and payroll processes.

Strong experience preparing annual reports and supporting year-end close activities.

Advanced Excel skills and comfort learning and implementing financial systems and reporting tools.

Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work collaboratively across teams.
