Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS system such as Toast, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently
- Develop and refine beverage recipes to enhance menu offerings and cater to guest tastes
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by verifying guest age and monitoring consumption levels
Skills
- Experience with POS systems
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail creation, spirits, wine, craft beer, and beverage recipe development
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate bill splitting
