MK Services in Middleton, MA is looking for a CNC Swiss Machinists for our 1st and 2nd shift operations.
We offer a flexible schedule for our 2nd Shift with 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM, including a paid 30-minute paid lunch. Who wouldn't want a 3-day weekend & Weekly Pay!
Job shop experience is desired. Must operate Star Swiss, read prints & use hand-held measuring devices. Must be able to change tools, make offsets, inspect parts, complete required paperwork, work in a team environment, and work without direct supervision to complete required duties. The ability to set up is preferred.

Job Requirements

Set up machines (Install tooling, touch off tools, install guide bushings/collets, etc.)

Control and adjust machine settings (guide bushing, collet tension, etc.)

Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines.

Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.

Fix issues that might occur during the shift.

Check the output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.

Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.

Maintain activity logs.

Maintain a clean work area.
Skills & Ecperience
-
Proven experience as a Swiss Machine operator (Star Swiss).

Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Understanding and interpreting GD&T.

Understanding of production procedures.

Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear).

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

Analytical skills.

Attention to detail.

Teamwork and communication skills.

High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.
