Job Summary
The Hillis Law Firm is hiring for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal to undertake a variety of administrative and clerical duties in a fast paced setting. Knowledge of Family, Bankruptcy, Social Security, and VA Disability law is preferred. The goal of this position is to sustain efficiency of office procedures and case management so as to provide reliable and consistent service to our clients.
Duties
- Scheduling appointments
- Organizing and maintaining client files
- Administrative tasks
- Answering calls, greeting clients, and communicating with individuals via phone, email, and in person.
- Maintain client invoices and payments
- Produce and file various legal documents
- Maintain office calendar and time records
- Preserve an updated case record system
Requirements
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
