PLC ENGINEER
Deerfield Beach based manufacturer. Degree required, with 3-5 years experience. Allen Bradley PLC programming EXPERIENCE required., Siemens programming helpful. SCADA and networking experience required. ( Experience with design of control/panels and systems a plus.) AutoCAD experience will be helpful. Some travel required. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Electrical Engineering degree preferred, will consider other qualifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop PLC and HMI programs
- Establish and troubleshoot network and SCADA customer interfaces.
- Develop control schemes and select electrical hardware/software for panels.
- Develop Engineering Instructions and Operating Logic
- Select electrical components
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- LOGIX 5000 PLC programming.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)
- Ability to multi task and meet critical deadlines
- Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
- Good communication skills essential for team-based work and collaboration
- Resourceful in problem solving.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
