Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support in a healthcare setting. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth patient flow and delivering high-quality care.
Duties:
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
- Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care services
- Verify insurance coverage and process billing information
- Ensure compliance with medical office procedures and protocols
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED - some college preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and administrative tasks
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with utmost care
- Willingness to grow and learn new skills in audiology related skills set (audiology practice software, sensitivity to hearing loss, possible career track in hearing care)
- Basic computer skills (Word, some Excel and QuickBooks)
Occasional travel to attend training conferences is required (airline travel, hotel stays), generally 2-3 days, which may include a weekend, once or twice a year.

Pay: $16-$19 per hour depending on experience
