Junior Achievement of Arkansas (JA Arkansas) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through volunteer-led, experiential learning programs, JA equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to own their economic success, plan for future careers, manage personal finances, and pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. Serving students from kindergarten through high school, JA Arkansas partners with schools, businesses, and community volunteers to deliver hands-on programs focused on financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship. Students engage in interactive lessons that connect classroom learning to real-world experiences, helping them develop critical life skills, confidence, and a better understanding of how education relates to future career opportunities. JA Arkansas reaches thousands of students annually across the state through classroom-based programs, career exploration experiences, workforce development initiatives, job shadowing opportunities, and volunteer mentorship. By bringing business and community leaders into the educational experience, JA provides students with exposure to diverse career pathways and the skills needed to thrive in today's workforce. The organization is committed to expanding economic opportunity and empowering students to make informed academic and career decisions. Through strategic partnerships, volunteer engagement, and sustainable resource development, JA Arkansas works to ensure that more young people have access to high-quality experiential learning opportunities that prepare them for lifelong success.
