Position Title
CDL Driver/Material Handling Specialist

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver & Material Handling Specialist to support daily transportation, warehouse, and material handling operations. This position is responsible for safely transporting materials, loading and unloading products, operating warehouse equipment, and assisting with inventory and yard organization.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating commercial vehicles and material handling equipment in an industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Load, unload, secure, and transport materials safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts, side loaders, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment
- Assist with receiving, staging, pulling, and organizing inventory
- Verify shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic equipment checks
- Maintain warehouse and yard cleanliness and organization
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures
- Assist warehouse and logistics teams with daily operational needs
- Ensure materials are properly handled to prevent damage during transport and storage
- Support inventory counts and material tracking activities
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Experience operating forklifts and industrial material handling equipment
- Knowledge of load securement and transportation safety procedures
- Ability to work in warehouse and outdoor industrial environments
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to lift and move materials regularly
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aluminum, steel, industrial distribution, or manufacturing
- Experience handling oversized or long-length materials
- Crane operation experience
- Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to climb onto trailers and equipment safely
