Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to support kitchen operations, adhering to established recipes and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support food handling procedures by following proper hygiene practices and food safety regulations
- Perform bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring a tidy environment for guests
- Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment using safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Support food running and serving activities by delivering orders promptly to guests and assisting servers as needed
- Assist with banquet setup and service when required, ensuring guest satisfaction during special events
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen flow and excellent customer service in person
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and basic cooking techniques is advantageous
- Prior hospitality or hotel experience can be beneficial in understanding guest services and hospitality standards
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during busy periods is required; physical stamina is important for success in this role
