We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Technician with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. This role involves all aspects of patient care, from assisting in exams and treatments to supporting surgical and hospitalized cases. We’re looking for someone who is skilled, reliable, and passionate about providing the highest level of care to our patients.
Veterinary Technician - Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
- Provide high-quality nursing care for hospitalized and outpatient patients.
- Support surgical procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery.
- Perform laboratory tests, take radiographs, place IV catheters, and administer medications as directed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure clear communication with the veterinary team.
- Monitor inventory and maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment and surgery areas.
- Help train and support new team members to promote consistency and teamwork.
- Uphold hospital policies and contribute to a positive and professional work environment.
Veterinary Technician - Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of veterinary technician experience.
- Surgical experience required.
- Certification (CVT/LVT/RVT), leadership experience, or ICU background preferred but not required. -Pay range could be higher for Licensed Technician
- Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Dependable, motivated, and compassionate toward both clients and patients.
