Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through excellent food and beverage service, ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service and strong knowledge of POS systems are preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and guest relations. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant dining setting, including fine dining and nightclub environments.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and service
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately at the end of each shift
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
- Maintain guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
- Support other restaurant operations including host/hostess duties when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, fine dining, or nightclub environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Previous roles in serving, bartending, bussing, or host/hostess positions are advantageous
- A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset and flexibility to work nights or weekends as needed
