American Traveler is hiring a Radiology/Cardiology X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week evening shift assignment requiring 1 year of large hospital and OR experience.

13-week travel assignment

Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
-
Patient ratio of 1:1
-
No weekend requirement
-
No on-call requirement
-
No floating between units required
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Trauma Level I and Level II hospital setting
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience required, with large hospital experience preferred
-
OR experience required
-
Current ARRT(R) and BLS certification
-
Valid WA state radiology license or license required if applicable

Epic EMR experience required

Trauma Level I and Level II experience required

Teaching hospital, community hospital, and LTAC experience preferred

First-time travelers will be considered for this position
-
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rates, though local candidates are accepted at a lower rate

All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility

Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
-
RTO must be requested and approved at the time of submission, as post-submission RTO requests may not be granted

Two supervisory references required covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
-
Skills may include abdomen/GI imaging, upper and lower extremity imaging, trauma imaging, fluoroscopy studies, mobile/surgical procedures, spine and pelvis imaging, chest and thorax imaging, and head imaging

Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, and PACS equipment

Responsibilities include preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety practices, and adherence to infection prevention and isolation precaution protocols
