The Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in expanding access to recovery-oriented education by recruiting students, cultivating strong partnerships across Region One, and advocating for substance use and mental health resources. This position serves as a bridge between the recovery high school, community agencies, families, and referral sources to ensure students in recovery are aware of and supported in accessing educational and recovery services.
Identify key stakeholders and subject matter experts in each jurisdiction. Increase the number of contacts of stakeholders.
Engage with students that have been identified as struggling with SUD and students that have been tempted to use, acting as a preventative deterrent. increase enrolled CRA student contact with community based recovery resources.
Increase regional school outreach efforts.

Considerable knowledge of: substance use disorders, recovery, and adolescent recovery. Demonstrated ability: to identify students appropriate for Chesterfield Recovery Academy; to develop recovery goals for students within the program. Design and deliver presentations for government agencies, school systems, community members, and students and families. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing to students, parents, and other professionals. Demonstrates knowledge in all areas of recovery, mental health, and substance use disorders.
High School diploma, training, or experience sufficient to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
