Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing vehicle maintenance requests, and ensuring efficient communication between customers and our automotive service technicians. Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them with their automotive service needs
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs
- Generate accurate estimates for labor and parts costs
- Schedule appointments and prioritize work orders based on urgency
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles throughout the service process
- Process payments and handle any billing inquiries
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions and service history through our system software program
-Maintain a clean and organized work area
-Privides shuttle service for customers
Experience:
- Previous experience in automotive service writing or technician experiance is preferred
- Knowledge of alignments, automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and auto body repairs is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individuals
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and generating estimates/invoices
We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide opportunities for career growth within our organization. We are also closed on the weekends, this position will be for Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm with a 60 min lunch break.
