We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated foreman/electrician to join our team in Idaho, primarily focusing on lighting retrofit projects.
Position Title: Foreman/Electrician
Location: Idaho (Boise Area)
Employment Type: Full-time
The foreman will be responsible for managing our electrical contracting partners, installing, maintaining, and upgrading lighting systems across various commercial properties. This role requires expertise in electrical work with a focus on jobsite management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day installation of lighting projects, and other energy efficiency electrical upgrades.
- Perform lighting retrofit projects, including the removal of old lighting systems and installation of new, energy-efficient lighting solutions.
- Conduct electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Diagnose electrical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with project coordinators and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
- Valid electrical license in the state of Idaho.
- Proven experience in electrical work, specifically with lighting systems and retrofits.
- Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within Idaho.
