Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
- Perform window cleaning and floor care to uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, and chemical sprayers.
- Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling cleaning chemicals with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to infection control protocols.
- Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, surface disinfection, and restroom cleaning to ensure hygiene compliance.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies or furniture movement while following manual handling safety procedures.
- Support custodial activities in public areas by performing window cleaning, pressure washing exterior surfaces, and ensuring overall cleanliness.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to chemical handling and use of cleaning equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques including sanitation standards, infection control procedures, and floor care is advantageous.
- Experience operating cleaning equipment such as pressure washers or industrial vacuums is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of supplies or furniture.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service interactions.
