Responsibilities
- Perform customized massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, including techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or aromatherapy massage.
- Assess client conditions and discuss their wellness goals to develop effective treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary.
- Keep detailed records of each session, including client preferences and progress notes.
- Promote wellness services and products to enhance clients’ ongoing health journeys.
- Ensure all licensing requirements are up-to-date and adhere to state regulations governing massage therapy practice.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification.
- Proven experience delivering various massage techniques in a professional setting.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage therapy.
- Strong communication skills to effectively understand client needs and provide clear guidance.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
