Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscape Crew Leader or Landscape Crew Member and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. As a key part of our crew, you'll engage in hands-on landscape maintenance, installation, and groundskeeping projects, ensuring high-quality results that exceed client expectations. This role offers an energetic and rewarding opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, hardscape construction, landscape maintenance, irrigation management, and team leadership while working outdoors on diverse construction projects. Whether leading a crew or contributing as a dedicated team member, you'll be instrumental in creating stunning landscapes that inspire and endure.
Duties
- Crew Leaders will supervise landscape crews to ensure efficient completion of outdoor projects, including planting, lawn care, hardscape installation, and grounds maintenance
- Crew Leaders & Crew Members will operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and ground maintenance machinery
- Assist with landscape design implementation by identifying plants and recommending suitable horticultural practices
- Perform outdoor work such as planting shrubs and trees, laying hardscape materials like pavers or retaining walls, and installing landscape features
- Maintain safety standards by conducting equipment inspections and ensuring team adherence to safety protocols
- Support crew management activities including scheduling tasks, training new team members, and maintaining a positive team environment
Requirements
- Crew Leaders & Crew Members - Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or related outdoor work environments
- Crew Leaders - Demonstrated supervising or team management experience within landscaping or construction settings
- Crew Leaders & Crew Members - Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and grounds maintenance techniques
- Crew Leaders & Crew Members - Ability to operate landscaping and groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently
- Crew Leaders - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse crew effectively
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles required for site travel between projects
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials as needed
