Job description:
Affordable At Home Care, is seeking an Oregon Licensed Registered Nurse to work with us as we provide In Home Care services for DHS, VA and Private Pay Clients, at our Tigard and Gresham, OR location.
This is a Per Diem/part-time position with a flexible schedule. Minimum requirement of supporting with medication management orientation training weekly. This position has opportunity to grow as we as our clientele who needs medication management services grow.
Our RN directs, implements and supervises the medication, delegations and nursing services provided by Affordable At Home Care’s Bend Office, throughout the Tigard, Portland, and Gresham Area. Our agency is focused on taking care of the caregivers so that they can take care of the client’s. We need your help to meet that goal.
The RN duties to include, but not limited to:
· Obtaining physician orders for medications and medical treatments.
· Monitor medication and treatment services being provided by the agency.
· Train caregiving staff on specific medication tasks, and conduction return demonstrations for competency evlauations.
· Delegates nursing tasks and generating supporting documents for client files, MAR's, TAR's, DAR's.
· Assures the agency’s system for the management of medications and medical treatments is safe and meets the requirements of the state in-home care licensing rules, as well as best practices for medication and medical treatment management.
· Participate in the quarterly Quality Reviews.
Experience in home health is helpful. Work region is the Bend area.
The nurse we seek is a reliable self-starter who requires little direction, and has a positive, helpful attitude.
A current valid driver's license, personal vehicle and vehicle insurance coverage are required. Our agency is focused on taking care of the caregivers so that they can take care of the client’s. We need your help to meet that goal.
Job Type: Part-time, Day Time
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
