Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Landscape Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating crews, managing schedules, staging materials and equipment, and ensuring that both residential and commercial projects are completed efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and excellent communication with clients and team members to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Set up and dispatch landscaping crews to various project sites, ensuring proper staffing and resource allocation.
- Coordinate daily schedules for crews, balancing project timelines with resource availability.
- Stage materials and equipment needed for upcoming projects to ensure smooth workflow.
- Move equipment between different job sites as required to optimize productivity.
- Oversee the execution of residential and commercial landscaping projects, maintaining quality standards throughout each phase.
- Handle customer communication, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Monitor project progress to ensure jobs are completed properly, on time, and within budget parameters.
- Make sure all safety protocols are followed on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage operational logistics to maximize efficiency and profitability of each project.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape management or related field with strong leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to set up and dispatch crews effectively while managing schedules dynamically.
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction and team coordination.
- Knowledge of staging materials and equipment for landscaping projects.
- Ability to move equipment efficiently between job sites as needed.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and safety compliance.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
