Job Overview
I am seeking a motivated Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on residential and commercial projects, utilizing your carpentry expertise and hands-on skills. The ideal candidate is energetic, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new techniques in a fast-paced environment. This paid position provides valuable experience in various aspects of construction, from framing to finishing touches, ensuring career growth and skill development. This position is a temporary position with 4-6 weeks of work with potential to become full time, experience is not necessary. *candidate must provide their own hand tools i.e. tool bags, square, tape measure, pencils, hammer, etc, all other site tools provided*
Duties
- Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing tools, and woodworking machines safely and effectively.
- Have the ability to work at great heights on mult-story units.
- Assist with framing, drywall installation, siding, and trim carpentry to complete residential and commercial projects.
- Follow construction safety protocols including power tool safety practices while maintaining a clean and organized worksite.
- Knowledge of construction site safety standards including proper use of power tools and handling of construction materials like wood and metal studs.
- Capable of heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during fabrication or assembly tasks.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
