Who is Mingo Valley Construction?
We are not your average remodeling crew. We are an award-winning residential home remodeling company with a commitment to quality craftsmanship. We are looking for multiple individuals to fulfill the roles of Craftsman Apprentice. Mingo Valley Construction handles full residential remodels and additions. Our sister company, Mingo Valley Automation, handles smart home and systems integration. Most crews only offer one - we do both, and we're growing.

What We Offer
Full-time, Direct hire with competitive hourly pay: starting at $15 - $20 per hour DOE

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Perform daily site setup and cleanup, including removal and disposal of construction debris and hazards; maintain tidy work areas
Clean and sanitize work van, trailers, shop and maintain an organized work area
Handle, load/unload, and move materials (lumber, concrete, rebar and equipment on site) to work areas per instructions
Assist with staging and storing materials on site and help with deliveries as needed
Provide general labor support to carpenters, masons, concrete finishers, and other skilled trades; distribute tools and materials as directed.
Apply basic construction methods and follow layout or work instructions
Perform minor hand excavation, concrete placement, chipping, backfill, and site leveling
Report all safety incidents, near-misses and injuries immediately to the Project Manager
Perform routine work inspection and report issues to Project Manager or Lead; help prepare sites for inspections

Entry-level apprentice, looking to refine and improve your skills

Able to perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools
Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
Must be 18+ years old
Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
Must be willing to submit to a drug screen (random)
Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
What Makes You Standout (Qualifications)
Residential home remodeling experience
Hands on with a knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the remodeling/construction industry.
Forklift certification
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
