Auto Body Production Assistant
Job Summary: Support the Production Manager/General Manager in coordinating daily operations of the body shop to ensure efficiency, customer satisfaction, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing vehicle flow from intake to delivery, ensuring high production quality and efficiency.
- Support the assignment of repair tasks to Body Technicians and prioritize vehicles for teardown, repair, or painting.
- Dispatch work assignments to production personnel
- Aid in checking-in vehicles, processing work orders in CCC1, and writing estimates as needed.
- Ensure all repairs meet company and industry standards, are accurately billed, and uphold shop safety protocols.
- Assist with tracking technician work hours
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of CCC1 is a plus, automotive repair processes and estimating software is a plus.
- Proficiency with computers and software applications.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
